प्रत्यक्ष जीन स्थानांतरण (Direct Gene Transfer):- जब बिना किसी जैविक कारक की सहायता के वांछित जीन को पादप कोशिकाओं के जीनोम में समावेशित कराके स्थायी रूपान्तरण प्राप्त किया जाता है तो इसे प्रत्यक्ष जीन स्थानांतरण कहते हैं।
(When stable transformation is achieved by incorporating the desired gene into the genome of plant cells without the help of any biological factor, it is called direct gene transfer.)
1. कणिका बंदूक विधि (Gene gun method):-
• यह जीन स्थानांतरण की एक भौतिक विधि है।
(It is a physical method of gene transfer.)
• इसे Biolistic method भी कहते हैं।
(It is also called Biolistic method.)
• इसमें 1-2µm व्यास के टंगस्टन या गोल्ड के कणों पर DNA का लेप चढ़ाकर इन्हें कणिका बंदूक के द्वारा कोशिका में दागा जाता है।
(In this, tungsten or gold particles of 1-2µm diameter are coated with DNA and fired them into the cell by a particle gun.)
