Concept, Nature, Objectives and Role of Plant Breeding
पादप प्रजनन की संकल्पना (Concept of Plant Breeding):- · पादप जनन एक प्राकृतिक प्रक्रिया है जबकि पादप प्रजनन एक कृत्रिम प्रक्रिया है। (Plant reproduction is a natural process while plant breeding is an artificial process.) · पादप प्रजनन ( Plant Breeding) :- यह एक कला तथा विज्ञान है जिसके द्वारा पौधों को अधिक आर्थिक महत्व का बनाने के लिए उनकी आनुवंशिकता में सुधार किया जाता है। (This is an art and science by which genetic improvements are made in plants to make them economically more beneficial.) · आनुवंशिक सुधार (Genetic Improvements):- i. ओज में वृद्धि (Vigorous in Growth) ii. नहीं गिरने वाली (Lodging Resistant) iii. कीट प्रतिरोधी (Insect Resistant) iv. रोग प्रतिरोधी (Disease Resistant) v. शीत प्रतिरोधी (Cold Resistant) vi. सूखा प्रतिरोधी (Drought Resistant) पादप प्रजनन की प्रकृति (Nature of Plant Breeding):- · प्रारम्भ में पादप प्रजनन का स्वरूप कलात्मक था। (Initially the nature of plant breeding was artistic.) ·
