Groundnut (मूंगफली): Tikka, Collar rot and Peanut clump virus:-

1. Tikka disease (टिक्का रोग):-

Early leaf spot (अर्ली लीफ स्पॉट):-

Cercospora arachidicola (Sexual Stage: Mycosphaerella arachidis)

Late leaf spot (लेट लीफ स्पॉट):-

Phaeoisariopsis personata (Sexual stage: Mycosphaerella berkeleyii) (Syn: Cercosporidium personatum)

Symptoms (लक्षण):- The tikka disease occurs as two distinct types of leaf spots, caused by two species of Cercospora.

(टीक्का रोग दो प्रकार के पत्तों पर धब्बों के रूप में होता है, जो सर्कोस्पोरा की दो जातियों द्वारा उत्पन्न होते हैं।)

i. Early leaf spot (अर्ली लीफ स्पॉट) (Cercospora arachidicola):- 

- Symptoms usually appear within 35 DAS (Days After Sowing). 

[लक्षण आमतौर पर 35 DAS (बुवाई के बाद दिन) के भीतर दिखाई देते हैं।]

- The most conspicuous symptoms are observed on the leaflets. But symptoms may also appear on rachis, petioles, stipules and stalks etc, as elongated, elliptical spots with definite border. 

(सबसे प्रमुख लक्षण पत्तियों पर दिखाई देते हैं। लेकिन यह लक्षण रैकिस, पर्णवृंत, स्टिप्यूल्स और तनों पर भी दिखाई दे सकते हैं, जो कि विस्तृत, दीर्घवृत्ताकार धब्बे होते हैं जिनकी स्पष्ट सीमा होती है।)

- The disease usually appears early (before 35 DAS) than the Cercospora personatum and hence is known as early spot. 

[यह रोग आमतौर पर सर्कोस्पोरा पर्सोनेटम से पहले (35 DAS से पहले) दिखाई देता है, इसलिए इसे अर्ली स्पॉट के रूप में जाना जाता है।]

- The leaf spots are irregularly circular (1-10 mm in diameter), reddish brown or dark brown on the upper surface and are surrounded by a bright yellow halo. On the under surface, spots are light brown coloured. Several spots coalesce and result in drying of the leaves.

[पत्तों के धब्बे अनियमित रूप से गोलाकार (1-10 मिमी व्यास में), ऊपरी सतह पर लाल-भूरे या गहरे भूरे रंग के होते हैं और चमकीले पीले प्रभामंडल से घिरे होते हैं। नीचे की सतह पर धब्बे हल्के भूरे रंग के होते हैं। कई धब्बे मिलकर पत्तियों के सूखने का कारण बनते हैं।]
