Rice (धान): Blast, Brown spot, Bacterial blight:-

1.  Blast of Rice (धान का ब्लास्ट):- Pyricularia oryzae (Syn: P. grisea)

Introduction (परिचय):- 

- Pyricularia oryzae (Syn: P. grisea)
Sexual stage (लैंगिक अवस्था):- Magnaporthe grisea

- The disease was first recorded in China in 1637. 

(यह रोग सबसे पहले 1637 में चीन में दर्ज की गई थी। )
- In Japan, it is believed to have occurred as early as in 1704. 

(जापान में, ऐसा माना जाता है कि इसकी शुरुआत 1704 में हुई थी। )
- In Italy the disease called “brusone ” was reported in 1828 and in USA in 1876. 

(इटली में "ब्रूसोन" नामक रोग 1828 में और संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में 1876 में सामने आई थी। )
- The disease was first recorded from Tanjore district of Tamil Nadu in 1918.

(यह रोग सबसे पहले 1918 में तमिलनाडु के तंजौर जिले में दर्ज की गई थी।)

Symptoms (लक्षण):- The fungus attacks the crop at all stages from seedlings in nursery to heading in main field. The typical symptoms appear on leaves, leaf sheath, rachis, nodes and even the glumes are also attacked.

(कवक नर्सरी में रोपाई से लेकर मुख्य खेत में जाने तक सभी चरणों में फसल पर हमला करता है। विशिष्ट लक्षण पत्तियों, पत्ती आवरण, रेचिस, गांठों पर दिखाई देते हैं और यहां तक ​​कि गुच्छों पर भी हमला होता है।)
