i. Disaster Management Cycle (आपदा प्रबंधन चक्र):-

Mitigation (निवारण):- Efforts to reduce the risk of disasters or to minimize their impact. This includes implementing building codes, land-use planning, and public education campaigns.

(आपदाओं के जोखिम को कम करने या उनके प्रभाव को न्यूनतम करने के प्रयास। इसमें भवन नियम, भूमि उपयोग की योजना और सार्वजनिक शिक्षा अभियान शामिल हैं।)

Preparedness (तैयारी):- Developing plans and capacities to efficiently respond to disasters. It includes training, conducting drills, and establishing communication systems.

Response (प्रतिक्रिया):- Immediate actions taken to ensure safety and provide emergency assistance. This includes search and rescue operations, medical aid, and the provision of food, water, and shelter.

(आपदाओं के तुरंत बाद सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और आपातकालीन सहायता प्रदान करने के लिए उठाए गए कदम। इसमें खोज और बचाव अभियान, चिकित्सा सहायता और भोजन, पानी और आश्रय की व्यवस्था शामिल है।)
