Definition of Correlation, Scatter Diagram

Definition of Correlation, Scatter Diagram
Definition of Correlation (सहसंबंध की परिभाषा):- Correlation is a statistical measure that describes the extent to which two variables change together. If two variables tend to increase or decrease together, they are said to have a positive correlation. Conversely, if one variable tends to increase when the other decreases, they have a negative correlation. If the change in one variable doesn't result in any predictable change in the other, the variables are said to have no correlation.
Positive Correlation (धनात्मक सहसंबंध):- As one variable increases, the other also increases. For example, the relationship between height and weight in humans—generally, taller people tend to weigh more.
Negative Correlation (ऋणात्मक सहसंबंध):- As one variable increases, the other decreases. For example, the relationship between the number of hours spent watching TV and academic performance—more hours might lead to lower grades.
No Correlation (कोई सहसंबंध नहीं):-
