Origin of Groundnut (मूंगफली की उत्पत्ति):-

i. Botanical Name (वानस्पतिक नाम):- Arachis hypogaea.

ii. Family (कुल):- Fabaceae.

iii. Origin (उत्पत्ति):- Groundnut, also known as peanut, is believed to have originated in South America, particularly in the region that includes parts of Bolivia, Paraguay, and Brazil. It was domesticated by ancient civilizations such as the Incas. The Portuguese and Spanish explorers later introduced the groundnut to Africa, Asia, and other parts of the world.
