Mothbean (मोठबीन):- Mothbean is a drought-resistant legume cultivated mainly in arid and semi-arid regions. It is a short-duration crop used for both food and fodder.

(मोठबीन एक सूखा प्रतिरोधी फल है जो मुख्य रूप से शुष्क और अर्ध-शुष्क क्षेत्रों में उगाया जाता है। यह एक कम अवधि की फसल है जिसे खाद्य और चारे दोनों के रूप में उपयोग किया जाता है।)

i. Climatic Requirements (जलवायु संबंधी आवश्यकताएँ):-

Temperature (तापमान):- 25°C to 35°C.

Rainfall (वर्षा):- 250-400 mm.

Soil (मिट्टी):- Grows well in sandy loam soils with good drainage. Soil pH should be 6.5-8.0.

(अच्छी जल निकासी वाली बलुई दोमट मिट्टी जिसमें pH 6.5-8.0 होना चाहिए।)

ii. Varieties (किस्में):- RMO-40, RMO-225, Jwala, Maru Moth-1
