Scale of Finance (वित्त का पैमाना):- 

Definition (परिभाषा):- The Scale of Finance refers to the per-acre or per-unit cost of cultivation or production of a specific crop or agricultural activity that is determined by financial institutions, primarily banks, for the purpose of providing loans. It is an important tool used by banks to decide the maximum amount of loan that can be sanctioned to a farmer for a particular crop or activity.

(वित्त का पैमाना किसी विशेष फसल या कृषि गतिविधि की प्रति एकड़ या प्रति इकाई लागत को संदर्भित करता है, जिसे वित्तीय संस्थानों, मुख्य रूप से बैंकों द्वारा ऋण प्रदान करने के उद्देश्य से निर्धारित किया जाता है। यह बैंकों द्वारा किसी किसान के लिए किसी विशेष फसल या गतिविधि के लिए स्वीकृत ऋण की अधिकतम राशि तय करने के लिए उपयोग किया जाने वाला एक महत्वपूर्ण उपकरण है।)

Determination (निर्धारण):-

> The Scale of Finance is determined by the District Technical Committee (DTC) which consists of representatives from various financial institutions, agricultural departments, and other related bodies.

> The DTC meets annually or biannually to review and set the Scale of Finance for different crops based on factors like input costs, prevailing market conditions, and technological changes.
