Solid Waste Management: causes, effects and control measures of urban and industrial wastes (ठोस अपशिष्ट प्रबंधन: शहरी और औद्योगिक कचरे के कारण, प्रभाव और नियंत्रण के उपाय):-

Causes of Urban Wastes (शहरी कचरे के कारण):-

i. Population Growth (जनसंख्या वृद्धि):- Rapid urbanization leads to increased waste generation as more people produce more waste.

(तेजी से हो रहे शहरीकरण के कारण अधिक लोग अधिक कचरा उत्पन्न करते हैं।)

ii. Consumerism (उपभोक्तावाद):- Increased consumption and disposable lifestyle contribute to high volumes of waste.

(बढ़ता हुआ उपभोग और एकल-उपयोग की जीवनशैली बड़ी मात्रा में कचरे का निर्माण करती है।)

iii. Lack of Waste Segregation (कचरे का पृथक्करण न होना):- Many urban areas lack effective waste segregation systems, leading to mixed waste that is harder to manage.

(कई शहरी क्षेत्रों में प्रभावी कचरा वर्गीकरण प्रणालियों की कमी है, जिससे मिश्रित कचरा उत्पन्न होता है जो प्रबंधित करने में कठिन होता है।)

iv. Inadequate Infrastructure (अपर्याप्त बुनियादी ढांचा):- Insufficient waste collection, transportation, and processing infrastructure exacerbate the problem.

(कचरा संग्रह, परिवहन और प्रसंस्करण के लिए अपर्याप्त बुनियादी ढांचे की कमी से समस्या और भी बढ़ जाती है।)
