ii. Family (कुल):- Poaceae (Gramineae).

iii. Origin (उत्पत्ति):- Sorghum originated in Africa, where it has been cultivated for over 5,000 years. It is believed to have been domesticated in the region of the Sudan or the Ethiopian highlands. From Africa, sorghum spread to Asia, the Middle East, and eventually to other parts of the world, including the Americas.
