Tractor types, Estimation of operational cost of a tractor (ट्रैक्टर के प्रकार, ट्रैक्टर की परिचालन लागत का अनुमान):- When discussing tractors in India, it's useful to break it down into types and then look into the operational costs.

Types of Tractors (ट्रैक्टर के प्रकार):-

i. Two-Wheel Drive (2WD) Tractors [दो-पहिया ड्राइव (2WD) ट्रैक्टर]:- Commonly used for small to medium-sized farms. Generally less expensive and have lower maintenance costs. Suitable for plowing, harrowing, and basic farming tasks.

(छोटे से मध्यम आकार की फसलों के लिए आमतौर पर उपयोग किए जाते हैं। सामान्यत: कम महंगे और रखरखाव की लागत कम होती है। जुताई, हारोइंग और बुनियादी कृषि कार्यों के लिए उपयुक्त।)

ii. Four-Wheel Drive (4WD) Tractors [चार-पहिया ड्राइव (4WD) ट्रैक्टर]:- Provides better traction and stability, especially on uneven or wet ground. More expensive and requires more maintenance. Ideal for large farms and more demanding tasks such as heavy plowing, haulage, and using specialized attachments.
