Identification (पहचान):- 
Adult Moth (वयस्क पतंगा):-
- Medium-sized moth with a wingspan of 30–40 mm.
(मध्यम आकार का पतंगा, पंखों का फैलाव 30–40 मिमी।)
- Forewings are gray-brown with a characteristic silvery, U-shaped or kidney-shaped marking.
(अग्र पंख ग्रे-भूरे रंग के होते हैं, जिन पर एक विशिष्ट चाँदी के रंग का U-आकार या किडनी-आकार का चिह्न होता है।)
- Hindwings are pale with darker margins.
(पिछले पंख हल्के होते हैं जिनके किनारे गहरे होते हैं।)
Larva (Caterpillar) [लार्वा (कैटरपिलर)]:-
- Green, smooth-bodied, and grows up to 30–35 mm in length.
(हरे रंग का, चिकना शरीर, और लंबाई 30–35 मिमी तक होती है।)
- Moves in a looping motion, characteristic of looper caterpillars.
(यह लूपिंग गति से चलता है, जो लूपर कैटरपिलर की विशिष्टता है।)
- The body is covered with fine, white stripes along the sides and back.
