Pest of field crop Oilseed: Groundnut aphid (कृष्य तेल फसल का पीड़क: मूंगफली एफिड):- The Groundnut Aphid is a significant pest of groundnut (peanut) crops in India and other parts of the world.
(मूंगफली एफिड भारत और दुनिया के अन्य हिस्सों में मूंगफली की फसलों का एक महत्वपूर्ण कीट है।)
Introduction (परिचय):-
Scientific Name (वैज्ञानिक नाम):- Aphis craccivora
Order (गण):- Hemiptera (हेमिप्टेरा)
Family (कुल):- Aphididae (एफिडिडी)

Distribution (वितरण):- 
> Aphis craccivora has a worldwide distribution, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions.
(मूँगफली ऐफिड विश्वभर में, विशेषकर उष्णकटिबंधीय और उपोष्णकटिबंधीय क्षेत्रों में पाया जाता है।)
> In India, it is found in almost all groundnut-growing regions such as Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Maharashtra.
(भारत में यह आंध्र प्रदेश, गुजरात, कर्नाटक, तमिलनाडु और महाराष्ट्र जैसे सभी मूंगफली उगाने वाले क्षेत्रों में पाया जाता है।)

Identification (पहचान):-
Adults (वयस्क):-
> Small, soft-bodied insects, usually black or dark brown.
(छोटे, नरम शरीर वाले कीट, आमतौर पर काले या गहरे भूरे रंग के होते हैं।)
> Approximately 1.5 to 2 mm in length.
(लगभग 1.5 से 2 मिमी लंबे होते हैं।)
> Both winged (alate) and wingless (apterous) forms exist.
[दोनों पंखयुक्त (alate) और बिना पंख वाले (apterous) रूप होते हैं।]
Nymphs (निम्फ):-
> Similar to adults but smaller and lighter in color.
(वयस्कों की तरह ही होते हैं लेकिन छोटे और हल्के रंग के होते हैं।)
> They are light green or brown with dark markings on the body.
(हल्के हरे या भूरे रंग के होते हैं, और शरीर पर काले निशान होते हैं।)
