Agreement of verb with the subject: tense, mood, voice (कर्ता के साथ क्रिया का सामंजस्य: काल, भाव, वाच्य):- Subject-verb agreement is a foundational element of grammar, ensuring that the verb matches the subject in number (singular / plural) and person. In addition to basic agreement, verb form can also be influenced by tense, mood, and voice.

i. Agreement in Number and Person (संख्या और व्यक्ति के अनुसार सामंजस्य):-

> Singular subjects take a singular verb, and plural subjects take a plural verb.

(एकवचन कर्ता के साथ एकवचन क्रिया और बहुवचन कर्ता के साथ बहुवचन क्रिया आती है।)

Example (उदाहरण):- "The cat runs." (singular) vs. "The cats run." (plural)

["बिल्ली दौड़ती है।" (एकवचन) बनाम "बिल्लियाँ दौड़ती हैं।" (बहुवचन)]

> Third-person singular subjects in present tense often require the verb to end in -s or -es.

(वर्तमान काल में तीसरे पुरुष एकवचन कर्ता के लिए क्रिया का अंत अक्सर -s या -es से होता है।)
