Agroclimatic zones of India and the state (भारत और राज्य के कृषि जलवायु क्षेत्र):- India is divided into various agroclimatic zones based on parameters such as soil type, rainfall, temperature, and water availability, which influence the types of crops grown and agricultural practices. 

(भारत को विभिन्न कृषि जलवायु क्षेत्रों में विभाजित किया गया है, जो मिट्टी के प्रकार, वर्षा, तापमान, और जल उपलब्धता जैसे मानकों पर आधारित हैं। ये कारक उन फसलों और कृषि पद्धतियों को प्रभावित करते हैं जो हर क्षेत्र में उगाई जाती हैं।)

Agroclimatic Zones of India (भारत के कृषि जलवायु क्षेत्र):- The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) has classified India into 15 agroclimatic zones, each characterized by distinct climate, soil, and vegetation patterns.

i. Western Himalayan Region (पश्चिमी हिमालय क्षेत्र):-

States (राज्य):- Jammu & Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand

Climate (जलवायु):- Cold, humid climate with high rainfall and snowfall in higher altitudes.

Crops (फसलें):- Apples, walnuts, saffron, rice, wheat, maize, and millets.

ii. Eastern Himalayan Region (पूर्वी हिमालय क्षेत्र):-

States (राज्य):- Sikkim, West Bengal (Darjeeling), Arunachal Pradesh

(राजस्थान का कृषि-जलवायु क्षेत्र मुख्य रूप से शुष्क या अर्ध-शुष्क है।)

> Rajasthan, with its unique desert landscape and varied climatic conditions, is divided into 10 agroclimatic zones. These are defined by the Agricultural University, Rajasthan:
