Allelopathy (ऐलीलोपैथी):-
> Allelopathy is a biological phenomenon by which an organism produces one or more biochemical that influences the germination, growth, survival, and reproduction of other organisms. 
(ऐलीलोपैथी एक जैविक घटना है जिसके द्वारा एक जीव एक या एक से अधिक जैव रसायन उत्पन्न करता है जो अन्य जीवों के अंकुरण, वृद्धि, अस्तित्व और जनन को प्रभावित करता है।)
> Allelochemicals, which are the secondary metabolites of plant, algae, bacteria and fungi, are responsible for allelopathy. 
(एलीलोरसायन, जो पौधे, शैवाल, बैक्टीरिया और कवक के द्वितीयक मेटाबोलाइट्स होते हैं, ऐलीलोपैथी के लिए जिम्मेदार होते हैं।)
> The crop having allelopathic property can be used for nutrient management, weed control, disease, pest management and abiotic stress management in field crops.
