Biomass gasification and familiarization with different gasifiers (बायोमास गैसीकरण और विभिन्न गैसीफायरों से परिचित होना):- Biomass gasification is a process that converts organic or biomass materials into a combustible gas mixture called producer gas or syngas, which can be used as a fuel for energy generation. This process involves heating the biomass in a controlled environment with a limited supply of oxygen or air, leading to the partial combustion and breakdown of the material into a mixture of carbon monoxide (CO), hydrogen (H₂), methane (CH₄), carbon dioxide (CO₂), and other trace gases.

[बायोमास गैसीफिकेशन एक प्रक्रिया है जिसमें कार्बनिक या बायोमास सामग्री को प्रोड्यूसर गैस या सिंथेसिस गैस (syngas) में परिवर्तित किया जाता है, जिसका उपयोग ऊर्जा उत्पादन के लिए ईंधन के रूप में किया जा सकता है। इस प्रक्रिया में बायोमास को नियंत्रित वातावरण में ऑक्सीजन या हवा की सीमित आपूर्ति के साथ गर्म किया जाता है, जिससे आंशिक दहन और सामग्री का कार्बन मोनोऑक्साइड (CO), हाइड्रोजन (H₂), मिथेन (CH₄), कार्बन डाइऑक्साइड (CO₂), और अन्य गैसों में टूटना होता है।]

Biomass Gasification Process (बायोमास गैसीफिकेशन की प्रक्रिया):-

Drying (सुखाना):- Biomass contains moisture, which must be evaporated before it can be gasified. This phase typically occurs at temperatures around 100-150°C.

(बायोमास में नमी होती है, जिसे गैसीफिकेशन से पहले वाष्पित करना आवश्यक है। यह चरण आमतौर पर 100-150°C के तापमान पर होता है।)

Pyrolysis (पायरोलाइसिस):- Biomass is decomposed at higher temperatures (200-600°C) in the absence of oxygen, breaking down into gases, tar, and char.
