Concept of adjuvant- surfactant, stabilizing agents, stickers, activators and compatibility agents and solvents (एडजुवेंट्स की अवधारणा - सर्फैक्टेंट, स्थिरता एजेंट, स्टिकर, सक्रियकारक और संगतता एजेंट और सॉल्वैंट्स):- Adjuvants are substances added to formulations (like pesticides, herbicides, or pharmaceuticals) to improve the effectiveness, stability, or application properties of the active ingredients. In agricultural and pharmaceutical formulations, they serve various purposes, often improving the overall performance of the active ingredients.

Surfactants (सर्फेक्टेंट्स):-
Definition (परिभाषा):- Surfactants (surface-active agents) reduce the surface tension between two substances, such as a liquid and a solid or two immiscible liquids.
[सर्फेक्टेंट्स (सतह-सक्रिय एजेंट) दो पदार्थों के बीच सतह तनाव को कम करते हैं, जैसे एक तरल और ठोस या दो मिश्रित न हो सकने वाले तरल।]
Role (भूमिका):- In agricultural formulations, surfactants help to spread the active ingredient evenly over plant surfaces or increase penetration through the plant cuticle. They help ensure uniform application and effective coverage.

 Types (प्रकार):-
i. Nonionic Surfactants (नॉनआयनिक सर्फेक्टेंट्स):- They do not carry a charge and are compatible with a wide range of pesticides.
(ये कोई आवेश नहीं रखते और अधिकांश कीटनाशकों के साथ अनुकूल होते हैं।)
ii. Anionic Surfactants (ऋणायनिक सर्फेक्टेंट्स):- Carry a negative charge and are often used in situations where foaming is beneficial.

iii. Cationic Surfactants (धनायनिक सर्फेक्टेंट्स):- Carry a positive charge, often used for their antimicrobial properties, though they can be phytotoxic (harmful to plants) in some cases.
