Indian Rural society: Important characteristics, differences and Relationship between Rural and Urban societies (भारतीय ग्रामीण समाज: महत्वपूर्ण विशेषताएँ, ग्रामीण व शहरी समाजों के बीच अंतर और संबंध):-

Indian Rural society (भारतीय ग्रामीण समाज):- 

Definition (परिभाषा):- Indian Rural society is defined as the society that lives in village, and is dependent on natural environment.

(भारतीय ग्रामीण समाज को उस समाज के रूप में परिभाषित किया जाता है जो गाँव में रहता है, और प्राकृतिक पर्यावरण पर निर्भर होता है।)

Need for the Study of the Indian Rural Society (भारतीय ग्रामीण समाज के अध्ययन की आवश्यकता):-

i. The study of rural society is essential for carrying out a programme of rural extension.

(ग्रामीण विस्तार के कार्यक्रम को चलाने के लिए ग्रामीण समाज का अध्ययन आवश्यक है।)

ii. It is important to know some of the characteristics of rural society as people have distinguishing features.

(ग्रामीण समाज की कुछ विशेषताओं को जानना महत्वपूर्ण है क्योंकि लोगों में विशिष्ट विशेषताएं होती हैं।)

iii. A knowledge of fundamental characteristics of rural situation contributes much to the understanding of the structure of rural society, the way it functions.

(ग्रामीण स्थिति की मूलभूत विशेषताओं का ज्ञान ग्रामीण समाज की संरचना, उसके कार्य करने के तरीके को समझने में बहुत योगदान देता है।)

iv. Rural people are studied in terms of their personal and group relations and as members of groups, organizations and institutions.

(ग्रामीण लोगों का अध्ययन उनके व्यक्तिगत और समूह संबंधों और समूहों, संगठनों और संस्थानों के सदस्यों के रूप में किया जाता है।)
