Nature, chemical combination, general classification of Fungicides (कवकनाशी की प्रकृति, रासायनिक संयोजन, सामान्य वर्गीकरण):- 
Nature of Fungicides (कवकनाशक की प्रकृति):-
Definition (परिभाषा):- Fungicides are substances used to destroy or inhibit the growth of fungi that cause plant diseases. Fungi can lead to significant losses in agriculture by affecting crops, fruits, vegetables, and grains.
(कवकनाशक वे पदार्थ होते हैं जिनका उपयोग पादप रोगों का कारण बनने वाले कवकों को नष्ट करने या उनकी वृद्धि को रोकने के लिए किया जाता है। कवक कृषि में बड़ी हानि कर सकते हैं, जिससे फसलें, फल, सब्जियाँ, और अनाज प्रभावित होते हैं।)

Chemical Combination of Fungicides (कवकनाशक का रासायनिक संयोजन):- Fungicides can be categorized based on their chemical composition and mode of action. These are the main types:
(कवकनाशक उनके रासायनिक संघटन और कार्य करने की विधि के आधार पर वर्गीकृत किए जा सकते हैं। मुख्य प्रकार निम्नलिखित हैं:)
i. Inorganic Fungicides (अकार्बनिक कवकनाशक):- Usually mineral-based, inorganic fungicides are simpler compounds.
(आमतौर पर खनिज-आधारित, ये सरल यौगिक होते हैं।)
ii. Organic Fungicides (कार्बनिक कवकनाशक):- These are synthetic fungicides composed of carbon-based chemicals. They are divided into various classes:
(ये संश्लेषित कवकनाशक होते हैं जिनमें कार्बन आधारित रासायनिक यौगिक होते हैं। इन्हें विभिन्न श्रेणियों में बांटा जा सकता है:)

General Classification of Fungicides (कवकनाशकों का सामान्य वर्गीकरण):- Fungicides can be classified based on various criteria, such as their spectrum of activity, mode of application, and mobility within the plant.
(कवकनाशकों को विभिन्न मानदंडों के आधार पर वर्गीकृत किया जा सकता है, जैसे उनकी क्रिया के स्पेक्ट्रम, अनुप्रयोग की विधि और पौधे के भीतर गतिशीलता।)
i. Based on Spectrum of Activity (क्रिया के स्पेक्ट्रम के आधार पर):-
Broad-spectrum Fungicides (व्यापक-स्पेक्ट्रम कवकनाशी):- Effective against a wide range of fungi.
(कवक की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला के प्रति प्रभावी।)
Narrow-spectrum Fungicides (संकीर्ण-स्पेक्ट्रम कवकनाशी):- Target-specific fungi or a limited range of fungal species.
(लक्ष्य-विशिष्ट कवक या कवक जातियों की एक सीमित श्रृंखला।)
ii. Based on Mode of Action (क्रियाविधि के आधार पर):-
Contact Fungicides (Protectants) [संपर्क कवकनाशी (रक्षक)]:- These fungicides remain on the surface of the plant and kill fungi on contact. They do not penetrate plant tissues.
(ये कवकनाशी पादप सतह पर रहते हैं और संपर्क में आने पर कवक को मार देते हैं। ये पौधों के ऊतकों में प्रवेश नहीं करते हैं।)

Commonly Used Fungicides in India (आमतौर पर प्रयुक्त कवकनाशी):- India uses a wide range of fungicides to control the various fungal diseases that affect agricultural crops:
(भारत कृषि फसलों को प्रभावित करने वाले विभिन्न कवक रोगों को नियंत्रित करने के लिए कवकनाशी की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला का उपयोग करता है:)
i. Carbendazim (कार्बेन्डाजिम):- Used for cereals, fruits, and vegetables.
(अनाज, फल और सब्जियों के लिए उपयोग किया जाता है।)
ii. Mancozeb (मैंकोजेब):- A multi-site fungicide used for potatoes, fruits, and vegetables.
(आलू, फलों और सब्जियों के लिए उपयोग किया जाने वाला एक बहु-स्थल कवकनाशी।)
