Definition (परिभाषा):- Fungicides are substances used to destroy or inhibit the growth of fungi that cause plant diseases. Fungi can lead to significant losses in agriculture by affecting crops, fruits, vegetables, and grains.

(कवकनाशक वे पदार्थ होते हैं जिनका उपयोग पादप रोगों का कारण बनने वाले कवकों को नष्ट करने या उनकी वृद्धि को रोकने के लिए किया जाता है। कवक कृषि में बड़ी हानि कर सकते हैं, जिससे फसलें, फल, सब्जियाँ, और अनाज प्रभावित होते हैं।)

Mode of Action (क्रियाविधि):- Fungicides work by interfering with the cellular processes of fungi, such as disrupting cell membranes, protein synthesis, or enzyme activity, which prevents the fungi from growing or surviving.
