Introduction (परिचय):-
Scientific Name (वैज्ञानिक नाम):- 
i. Myzus persicae (Green peach aphid) (ग्रीन पीच एफिड)
ii. Aphis gossypii (Cotton aphid) (कॉटन एफिड)
iii. Lipaphis erysimi (Mustard aphid) (मस्टर्ड एफिड)
Order (गण):- Hemiptera (हेमिप्टेरा)
Family:- Aphididae (ऐफिडिडी)

Distribution (वितरण):-
> Aphids are widely distributed across India, thriving in regions where spices and condiments are cultivated. They are found in tropical and subtropical climates, affecting crops in states like Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and others.

Identification (पहचान):-
Physical Appearance (भौतिक उपस्थिति):- Aphids are small, soft-bodied insects, typically 1-4 mm in size. They come in various colours, including green, black, yellow, or brown, depending on the species.

Body Shape (शरीर का आकार):- They have a pear-shaped body with long antennae. Two tubes (called cornicles) project backward from their abdomen, which is a distinguishing feature.
