Distribution (वितरण):-
> The pulse beetle is widely distributed across India and other tropical and subtropical regions.

Identification (पहचान):-
Adults (वयस्क):-
> Callosobruchus chinensis adults are small, about 2-4 mm long, with an oval shape.

> The body color is typically reddish-brown to dark brown with distinctive spots on the elytra (wing covers).

Pupa (प्यूपा):- Forms inside the grain, where the larva cuts a circular window for adult emergence.
