Managing these pests helps maintain the quality and quantity of grains, ensuring food security. The principles of stored grain pest management in India involve understanding the biology of pests, using preventive measures, and applying control methods when infestations occur.

Timely Harvesting (समय पर कटाई):- Harvesting at the right time is essential to prevent pest infestation. Delayed harvesting can lead to increased exposure of grains to field pests.
