Patents (पेटेंट):-

Definition (परिभाषा):- A patent is an exclusive right granted for an invention, which is a new product or process that offers a new technical solution to a problem. It allows the patent holder to exclude others from making, using, selling, or importing the patented invention without permission.

Legislation (कानून):- The Patents Act, 1970 (amended in 2005)
