Personality (व्यक्तित्व):-
Meaning (अर्थ):-
> The term personality is derived from the Latin word 'Persona' which means a theatrical mask used by the actors in those days to indicate their role in the play. 
(पर्सनैलिटी शब्द की उत्पत्ति लैटिन शब्द 'पर्सोना' से हुई है, जिसका अर्थ है नाटकीय मुखौटा जो उन दिनों अभिनेताओं द्वारा नाटक में अपनी भूमिका दर्शाने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जाता था।)
> Generally layman considers that personality is the external appearance of an individual. 
(आम तौर पर आम आदमी मानता है कि व्यक्तित्व किसी व्यक्ति का बाहरी स्वरूप है।)
> But in psychology the personality is the totality of an individual, both his inner and outer qualities interacting with each other.
(लेकिन मनोविज्ञान में व्यक्तित्व एक व्यक्ति की समग्रता है, उसके आंतरिक और बाहरी दोनों गुण एक-दूसरे के साथ अंत:क्रिया करते हैं।)

Definition (परिभाषा):- According to G.W. Allport – " Personality is the dynamic organization within the individual of those psycho physical systems that determines his unique adjustment to his environment." 
(जी.डब्ल्यू. ऑलपोर्ट के अनुसार - "व्यक्तित्व व्यक्ति के भीतर उन मानसिक शारीरिक प्रणालियों का गतिशील संगठन है जो उसके वातावरण के साथ उसके अद्वितीय समायोजन को निर्धारित करता है।")

Types of Personality (व्यक्तित्व के प्रकार):-
i. Introvert (अंतर्मुखी):- A person who prefers to be alone and is usually shy and reserved. 
(एक व्यक्ति जो अकेले रहना पसंद करता है और आमतौर पर शर्मीला और संकोची होता है।)
ii. Extrovert (बहिर्मुखी):- A person who is outgoing and likes to be around other people. 
(एक व्यक्ति जो मिलनसार है और अन्य लोगों के आसपास रहना पसंद करता है।)
