Social process (सामाजिक प्रक्रिया):-
Meaning (अर्थ):- Society is a system of social relations. Social relationships may be studied by the kind or mode of interaction they exhibit. These kinds or modes of interaction are called social processes. Social processes are the fundamental ways in which men interact and establish relationships.
(समाज सामाजिक संबंधों की एक व्यवस्था है। सामाजिक रिश्तों का अध्ययन उनके द्वारा प्रदर्शित बातचीत के प्रकार या तरीके से किया जा सकता है। अंतःक्रिया के इस प्रकार या तरीकों को सामाजिक प्रक्रियाएँ कहा जाता है। सामाजिक प्रक्रियाएँ वे मूलभूत तरीके हैं जिनसे मनुष्य परस्पर क्रिया करते हैं और संबंध स्थापित करते हैं।)

Definitions (परिभाषाएँ):-
i. MacIver:- Social process is the manner in which the relations of the members of a group, once brought together, acquire a distinctive character.
(सामाजिक प्रक्रिया वह तरीका है जिसमें किसी समूह के सदस्यों के संबंध एक बार एक साथ आ जाने पर एक विशिष्ट चरित्र प्राप्त कर लेते हैं।)
ii. Horton and Hunt opines:- The term social process refers to the “repetitive forms of behaviour which are commonly found in social life.
(सामाजिक प्रक्रिया शब्द का तात्पर्य व्यवहार के दोहराए जाने वाले रूपों से है जो आमतौर पर सामाजिक जीवन में पाए जाते हैं।)

Types of Social Processes (सामाजिक प्रक्रियाओं के प्रकार):-
1. Associative Processes (सहयोगी प्रक्रियाएँ):- Associative processes are also called the integrative or conjunctive social processes which are essential for the integration and progress of the society.
(साहचर्य प्रक्रियाओं को एकीकृत या संयोजक सामाजिक प्रक्रियाएँ भी कहा जाता है जो समाज के एकीकरण और प्रगति के लिए आवश्यक हैं।)
a. Cooperation (सहयोग):-
Meaning (अर्थ):-
> Cooperation is one of the most basic, pervasive and continuous social processes. 
(सहयोग सबसे बुनियादी, व्यापक और सतत सामाजिक प्रक्रियाओं में से एक है।)
