Operational structure of NPOP (NPOP की परिचालन संरचना):- The National Programme for Organic Production (NPOP) is an initiative by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, aimed at regulating and promoting organic agriculture in India. 
[राष्ट्रीय जैविक उत्पादन कार्यक्रम (NPOP) भारत सरकार के वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंत्रालय द्वारा एक पहल है, जिसका उद्देश्य भारत में जैविक कृषि को विनियमित और बढ़ावा देना है।]
Operational Structure of NPOP (NPOP की परिचालन संरचना):-
a. Governing Bodies (शासी निकाय):- The operational structure consists of:
(परिचालन संरचना में शामिल हैं:)
i. National Steering Committee (NSC) (राष्ट्रीय संचालन समिति):-
> The apex body responsible for policy formulation, implementation, and monitoring.
(नीति निर्माण, कार्यान्वयन और निगरानी के लिए जिम्मेदार शीर्ष निकाय।)
ii. Accreditation Committee (AC) (प्रत्यायन समिति):-
> Reviews applications from certification bodies and grants accreditation.
(प्रमाणन निकायों से प्राप्त आवेदनों की समीक्षा करती है और प्रत्यायन प्रदान करती है।)
iii. Technical Committee (तकनीकी समिति):-
>  Develops and revises standards for organic production and processing.
(जैविक उत्पादन और प्रसंस्करण के लिए मानकों का विकास और संशोधन करती है।)
b. Certification and Accreditation System (प्रमाणन और मान्यता प्रणाली):- 
i. Accreditation Agencies (मान्यता एजेंसियां):-
> APEDA is the main accreditation body under NPOP.
(APEDA, NPOP के तहत मुख्य मान्यता निकाय है।)
ii. Certification Bodies (प्रमाणन निकाय):-
> Private and government-approved agencies that certify organic farms, processors, and traders.
(निजी और सरकारी-अनुमोदित एजेंसियाँ जो जैविक खेतों, प्रसंस्करणकर्ताओं और व्यापारियों को प्रमाणित करती हैं।)
c. Implementation Mechanism (कार्यान्वयन तंत्र):- The operational implementation of NPOP includes:
(NPOP के परिचालन कार्यान्वयन में शामिल हैं:)
i. Standards for Organic Production (जैविक उत्पादन के लिए मानक):-
> Covers crops, livestock, aquaculture, processing, and packaging.
(फसलों, पशुधन, जलीय कृषि, प्रसंस्करण और पैकेजिंग को कवर करता है।)
ii. Inspection and Certification (निरीक्षण और प्रमाणन):-
> Farms, processing units, and traders undergo annual audits and surprise inspections.
(खेतों, प्रसंस्करण इकाइयों और व्यापारियों को वार्षिक ऑडिट और अचानक निरीक्षण से गुजरना पड़ता है।)
d. Monitoring and Compliance (निगरानी और अनुपालन):-
> Regular surveillance and audits by APEDA and Accreditation Agencies.
(APEDA और मान्यता एजेंसियों द्वारा नियमित निगरानी और ऑडिट।)
> Actions like suspension or withdrawal of certification for non-compliance.
(गैर-अनुपालन के लिए प्रमाणन को निलंबित या वापस लेने जैसी कार्रवाई।)
