Production technologies for the cultivation of Date palm (खजूर की खेती के लिए उत्पादन तकनीकें):-

Date Palm (Phoenix dactylifera) [खजूर (फॉइनिक्स डेक्टाईलीफेरा)]:-

i. Climate and Soil Requirements (जलवायु और मिट्टी की आवश्यकताएं):-

> Thrives in hot arid and semi-arid regions with temperatures ranging from 25-40°C.

(25-40 डिग्री सेल्सियस तापमान वाले गर्म शुष्क और अर्ध-शुष्क क्षेत्रों में पनपता है।)

> Requires sandy loam to loamy soils with good drainage and pH between 7-8.

(अच्छी जल निकासी और 7-8 के बीच पीएच वाली रेतीली दोमट मिट्टी की आवश्यकता होती है।)

> Waterlogged or saline soils are not suitable.

(जलभराव वाली या खारी मिट्टी उपयुक्त नहीं है।)

ii. Propagation Techniques (प्रवर्धन तकनीकें):-

> Propagated through offshoots or tissue culture for maintaining genetic purity.

(आनुवंशिक शुद्धता बनाए रखने के लिए शाखाओं या ऊतक संवर्धन के माध्यम से प्रचारित किया जाता है।)

> Offshoots are separated from mother plants at 3-5 years of age.

(शाखाओं को 3-5 वर्ष की आयु में मातृ पौधों से अलग कर दिया जाता है।)

iii. Planting Method (रोपण विधि):-

> Planting is done in pits of 1m x 1m x 1m during February to March.

(फरवरी से मार्च के दौरान 1 मीटर x 1 मीटर x 1 मीटर के गड्ढों में रोपण किया जाता है।)

Spacing (अंतराल):- 8-10 m x 8-10 m.

iv. Irrigation Management (सिंचाई प्रबंधन):-

> Drip irrigation is recommended for efficient water use.

(पानी के कुशल उपयोग के लिए ड्रिप सिंचाई की सिफारिश की जाती है।)

> Irrigation frequency varies with soil type and climate but generally every 7-10 days.

(सिंचाई की आवृत्ति मिट्टी के प्रकार और जलवायु के साथ बदलती रहती है, लेकिन आम तौर पर हर 7-10 दिन में होती है।)

v. Nutrient Management (पोषक तत्व प्रबंधन):-

Recommended fertilizers (अनुशंसित उर्वरक):- NPK (200:100:300 g/plant/year) with organic manure.

[ NPK (200:100:300 ग्राम/पौधा/वर्ष) जैविक खाद के साथ।)

> Zinc, Iron, and Magnesium supplements are beneficial.

(जिंक, आयरन और मैग्नीशियम की खुराक फायदेमंद है।)

vi. Pest and Disease Management (कीट और रोग प्रबंधन):-

Major pests (प्रमुख कीट):- Red palm weevil, Date palm scale.

(लाल ताड़ की घुन, खजूर की पपड़ी।)

Major diseases (प्रमुख रोग):- Bayoud disease, Fusarium wilt.

(बयूड रोग, फ्यूजेरियम विल्ट।)

vii. Harvesting and Yield (कटाई और उपज):-

> Fruits are ready for harvest 4-5 years after planting.

(फल रोपण के 4-5 साल बाद कटाई के लिए तैयार हो जाते हैं।)

Average yield (औसत उपज):- 80-100 kg per plant annually.

(प्रति पौधा 80-100 किलोग्राम सालाना।)
