Farm management: Meaning and concept, objectives and relationship with other sciences (फार्म प्रबंधन: अर्थ और अवधारणा, उद्देश्य और अन्य विज्ञानों के साथ संबंध):- 
Introduction (परिचय):-
> Farm Management is the application of business principles and decision-making techniques to the management of a farm to ensure efficient, profitable, and sustainable agricultural production.
(फार्म प्रबंधन, कृषि उत्पादन को कुशल, लाभदायक और टिकाऊ बनाने के लिए फार्म के प्रबंधन में व्यावसायिक सिद्धांतों और निर्णय लेने की तकनीकों का अनुप्रयोग है।)

Definitions (परिभाषाएँ):-
> According to L.C. Gray, “Farm management is the science that deals with the organization and operation of the farm in the context of the efficiency in the use of land, labor, and capital.”
(एल.सी. ग्रे के अनुसार, "फार्म प्रबंधन वह विज्ञान है जो भूमि, श्रम और पूंजी के उपयोग में दक्षता के संदर्भ में फार्म के संगठन और संचालन से संबंधित है।")

Objectives of Farm Management (कृषि प्रबंधन के उद्देश्य):-
i Maximizing Profit (लाभ को अधिकतम करना):- The primary aim is to maximize farm income by utilizing available resources efficiently.
(प्राथमिक उद्देश्य उपलब्ध संसाधनों का कुशलतापूर्वक उपयोग करके कृषि आय को अधिकतम करना है।)
ii. Efficient Resource Use (कुशल संसाधन उपयोग):- To allocate and use land, labor, capital, and management efficiently to avoid wastage.
(अपव्यय से बचने के लिए भूमि, श्रम, पूंजी और प्रबंधन को कुशलतापूर्वक आवंटित और उपयोग करना।)
iii. Risk and Uncertainty Management (जोखिम और अनिश्चितता प्रबंधन):- To make decisions under uncertain conditions of weather, prices, and yields.
(मौसम, कीमतों और पैदावार की अनिश्चित स्थितियों के तहत निर्णय लेना।)

Relationship of Farm Management with Other Sciences (कृषि प्रबंधन का अन्य विज्ञानों के साथ संबंध):- Farm management is interdisciplinary in nature. It draws knowledge from various sciences:
(कृषि प्रबंधन प्रकृति में अंतःविषय है। यह विभिन्न विज्ञानों से ज्ञान प्राप्त करता है:)
i. Economics (अर्थशास्त्र):- Provides principles of resource allocation, cost analysis, profit maximization, and price theory.
(संसाधन आवंटन, लागत विश्लेषण, लाभ अधिकतमीकरण और मूल्य सिद्धांत के सिद्धांत प्रदान करता है।)
ii. Agronomy (कृषि विज्ञान):- Helps determine the best cropping patterns, soil and water management.
(सर्वोत्तम फसल पैटर्न, मिट्टी और जल प्रबंधन को निर्धारित करने में मदद करता है।)
iii. Animal Science (पशु विज्ञान):- Guides management of livestock, feeding, breeding, and health.
(पशुधन, चारा, प्रजनन और स्वास्थ्य के प्रबंधन का मार्गदर्शन करता है।)
