Positive and negative externalities in agriculture, Inefficiency and welfare loss, solutions (कृषि में सकारात्मक और नकारात्मक बाह्यताएँ, अकुशलता और कल्याण की हानि, समाधान):-
Positive and Negative Externalities in Agriculture (कृषि में सकारात्मक और नकारात्मक बाह्यताएँ):-
Positive Externalities (सकारात्मक बाह्यताएँ):- These are beneficial side effects of agricultural production that are not reflected in market prices and are enjoyed by others without payment.
(ये कृषि उत्पादन के लाभकारी दुष्प्रभाव हैं जो बाजार की कीमतों में परिलक्षित नहीं होते हैं और दूसरों द्वारा बिना भुगतान के इनका आनंद लिया जाता है।)
Negative Externalities (नकारात्मक बाह्यताएँ):- These are harmful side effects of agricultural production not borne by the producer but by others, leading to overproduction of harmful goods.
(ये कृषि उत्पादन के हानिकारक दुष्प्रभाव हैं जो उत्पादक द्वारा नहीं बल्कि दूसरों द्वारा वहन किए जाते हैं, जिससे हानिकारक वस्तुओं का अधिक उत्पादन होता है।)

Inefficiency and Welfare Loss (अकुशलता और कल्याण हानि):- Externalities cause market failure, where the market does not allocate resources efficiently, leading to social inefficiency and welfare loss.
(बाह्य कारक बाजार की विफलता का कारण बनते हैं, जहां बाजार संसाधनों को कुशलतापूर्वक आवंटित नहीं करता है, जिससे सामाजिक अकुशलता और कल्याण हानि होती है।)
i. Negative Externalities → Overproduction (नकारात्मक बाह्य कारक → अतिउत्पादन):- 
- Producers ignore the external costs (e.g., water pollution), producing more than the socially optimal level.
[उत्पादक बाहरी लागतों (जैसे, जल प्रदूषण) को अनदेखा करते हैं, सामाजिक रूप से इष्टतम स्तर से अधिक उत्पादन करते हैं।]
ii. Positive Externalities → Underproduction (सकारात्मक बाह्यताएँ → अल्पउत्पादन):-
- Producers are not rewarded for the external benefits (e.g., pollination).
[उत्पादकों को बाह्य लाभों (जैसे, परागण) के लिए पुरस्कृत नहीं किया जाता है।]

Solutions to Address Externalities (बाह्य प्रभावों से निपटने के उपाय):-
