Principles of farm management: concept of production function and its type (फार्म प्रबंधन के सिद्धांत: उत्पादन कार्य की अवधारणा और इसके प्रकार):-
Principles of Farm Management (फार्म प्रबंधन के सिद्धांत):- Farm management refers to the application of business principles to the operation of a farm. 
(फार्म प्रबंधन से तात्पर्य किसी फार्म के संचालन में व्यावसायिक सिद्धांतों के अनुप्रयोग से है।)
> Production Function is central to understanding farm input-output relationships.
(इनमें से, उत्पादन कार्य फार्म इनपुट-आउटपुट संबंधों को समझने के लिए केंद्रीय है।)

Concept of Production Function (उत्पादन फलन की अवधारणा):- A production function is a mathematical or functional relationship between inputs (resources) used in production and output (product) obtained from them.
[उत्पादन फलन उत्पादन में प्रयुक्त इनपुट (संसाधन) तथा उनसे प्राप्त आउटपुट (उत्पाद) के बीच गणितीय या कार्यात्मक संबंध है।]
Definition (परिभाषा):- The production function shows how much output (Y) can be produced using different combinations of inputs (X), under given technology.
[उत्पादन फलन यह दर्शाता है कि दी गई प्रौद्योगिकी के तहत इनपुट (X) के विभिन्न संयोजनों का उपयोग करके कितना आउटपुट (Y) उत्पादित किया जा सकता है।]

Types of Production Functions (उत्पादन कार्यों के प्रकार):-
Based on Number of Inputs (इनपुट की संख्या के आधार पर):-
i. Single Variable Input (Ceteris Paribus) [एकल परिवर्तनीय इनपुट (सेटेरिस पैरिबस)]:-
> All other inputs are constant; only one is varied.
(अन्य सभी इनपुट स्थिर हैं; केवल एक में परिवर्तन होता है।)
ii. Multi-variable Input Function (बहु-चर इनपुट फ़ंक्शन):-
> More realistic, uses all variables.
(अधिक यथार्थवादी, सभी चर का उपयोग करता है।)

Graphical Representation of Production Function (उत्पादन फलन का चित्रमय निरूपण):- Imagine a Total Product (TP), Marginal Product (MP), and Average Product (AP) curve:

Applications in Farm Management (कृषि प्रबंधन में अनुप्रयोग):-
> Helps determine optimum input use.
(इष्टतम इनपुट उपयोग निर्धारित करने में सहायता करता है।)
