Coriander – Stem Gall Disease [धनिया - स्टेम गाल रोग]:-
Causal Organism (रोगजनक):- Protomyces macrosporus (प्रोटोमाइसीज मैक्रोस्पोरस)
Symptoms (लक्षण):-
> Formation of large tumor-like galls or swellings on:
(बड़े ट्यूमर जैसे गॉल या सूजन का निर्माण:)
i. Stems (mostly at nodes and internodes)
[तने (ज्यादातर नोड्स और इंटरनोड्स पर)]
ii. Petioles (पर्णवृन्त)
iii. Peduncles (पुष्पावली वृन्त)
iv. Occasionally on leaves and flowers
(कभी-कभी पत्तियों और पुष्पों पर)
> Galls are initially green, then turn brown and woody as they mature.
(गॉल शुरू में हरे होते हैं, फिर परिपक्व होने पर भूरे और लकड़ी जैसे हो जाते हैं।)
> Infected parts become malformed and growth is stunted.
(संक्रमित हिस्से विकृत हो जाते हैं और वृद्धि रुक जाती है।)
> Flowering and seed set are drastically reduced or absent.
(पुष्प और बीज का सेट काफी कम हो जाता है या अनुपस्थित होता है।)
Favorable Conditions (अनुकूल परिस्थितियाँ):-
> Cool and moist climate during vegetative and flowering stages.
(कायिक और पुष्पन अवस्था के दौरान ठंडी और नम जलवायु।)
> Heavy dew or fog during early morning.
(सुबह के समय भारी ओस या कोहरा।)
Disease Cycle (रोग चक्र):-
Primary source (प्राथमिक स्रोत):- Soil-borne chlamydospores in infected plant debris.
(संक्रमित पौधे के मलबे में मिट्टी-जनित क्लैमाइडोस्पोर।)
Secondary spread (द्वितीयक प्रसार):- Via wind and rain splashes.
(हवा और वर्षा की फुहारों द्वारा।)
Management (प्रबंधन):-
Cultural (कृषि):-
> Use disease-free seeds from uninfected areas.
(असंक्रमित क्षेत्रों से रोग-मुक्त बीजों का उपयोग करें।)
> Follow crop rotation (3–4 years).
[फसल चक्र अपनाएँ (3-4 वर्ष)।]
> Remove and destroy infected plant residues.
(संक्रमित पौधों के अवशेषों को हटाएँ और नष्ट करें।)
Chemical (रासायनिक):-
> Seed treatment with Thiram or Carbendazim @ 2 g/kg seed.
(बीज को 2 ग्राम/किग्रा बीज की दर से थाइरम या कार्बेन्डाजिम से उपचारित करें।)
> Spray crop with Carbendazim (0.1%) at 20 and 40 days after sowing.
[बुआई के 20 और 40 दिन बाद फसल पर कार्बेन्डाजिम (0.1%) का छिड़काव करें।]
