OUTLINE NOTES Classification ( वर्गीकरण ):- Objectives of classification ( वर्गीकरण के उद्देश्य ):- i. For easy and quick cultural operations. (आसान और त्वरित संवर्धन प्रक्रियाओं के लिए।) ii. For breeding purpose and to evolve new varieties. (प्रजनन के उद्देश्य से और नई किस्मों को विकसित करने के लिए।) iii. For facilitating propagation of crops. (फसलों के प्रवर्धन की सुविधा के लिए।) iv. For effective control of pest and diseases. (कीट एवं रोगों के प्रभावी नियंत्रण के लिए।) v. For cultivating crops suitable to different climatic conditions. (विभिन्न जलवायु परिस्थितियों के लिए उपयुक्त फसलों की खेती के लिए।) Bases of Classification ( वर्गीकरण के आधार ):- 1. On the basis of duration of life/life span ( जीवन की अवधि/जीवन काल के आधार पर ):- i.
