Classification of organic manures (जैविक खादों का वर्गीकरण):- 

1. Bulky Organic Manures (भारी जैविक खाद)

2. Concentrated Organic Manures (सांद्रित जैविक खाद)

1. Bulky Organic Manures (भारी जैविक खाद):- Contain small percentage of nutrients and they are applied in large quantities. FYM, Compost and Green manure are the most impor­tant and widely used bulky organic manures. It can be grouped as-

(इनमें पोषक तत्वों का प्रतिशत कम होता है और ये बड़ी मात्रा में मृदा में उपयोग किए जाते हैं। FYM, कम्पोस्ट और हरी खाद सबसे महत्वपूर्ण और व्यापक रूप से उपयोग की जाने वाली भारी जैविक खाद हैं। इसे इस प्रकार वर्गीकृत किया जा सकता है-)

 (a) Farmyard manure (फार्म यार्ड खाद)

(b) Composted manure (कम्पोस्ट खाद)

(c) Town compost (शहरी कम्पोस्ट)

(d) Sewage and sludge (सीवेज और स्लज)

(e) Night soil or poudrette (रात्रि मृदा या पौड्रेट)

(g) Green manures (हरी खाद)

2. Concentrated Organic Manures (सांद्रित जैविक खाद):- Concentrated organic manures have higher nutrients than bulky or­ganic manures.

(सांद्रित जैविक खाद में भारी जैविक खाद की तुलना में अधिक पोषक तत्व होते हैं।)

a. Bird guano (पक्षी गुआनो):- The excreta and dead remains of the birds.

(पक्षियों का मल और मृत अवशेष।)

b. Fish guano (मछली गुआनो):– The refuse left over after the extraction of oil from the fish in factories, is dried in paved yards and used as manure.

(कारखानों में मछली से तेल निकालने के बाद बचे हुए कचरे को पक्के यार्ड में सुखाया जाता है और खाद के रूप में उपयोग किया जाता है।)

c. Fish manure (मछली खाद)

d. Raw bone meal (कच्चा अस्थि भोज)

e. Steamed bone meal (भाप अस्थि भोज)

f. Blood meal (रक्त भोज)

g. Meat meal (माँस भोज)

h. Calcined bone (कैल्सीकृत अस्थि)

i. Oil cakes (तेल खली)
