Humic Substances – Nature and Properties (ह्युमिक पदार्थ – प्रकृति और गुण):-
Humic substances (ह्यूमिक पदार्थ):- It has 3 main components:-
(इसके 3 मुख्य घटक हैं:-)
i. Humic acids (ह्यूमिक अम्ल):- The fraction of humic substances that is not soluble in water under acidic conditions (pH < 2) but is soluble at higher pH values. They can be extracted from soil by various reagents and which is insoluble in dilute acid. Humic acids are the major extractable component of soil humic substances. They are dark brown to black in colour. Humic acids are thought to be complex aromatic macro molecules with amino acids, amino sugars, peptides, aliphatic compounds involved in linkages between the aromatic groups.
(ह्यूमिक पदार्थों का अंश जो अम्लीय परिस्थितियों (pH <2) में जल में घुलनशील नहीं होता है, परन्तु उच्च pH मानों पर घुलनशील होता है। इन्हें विभिन्न अभिकर्मकों द्वारा मृदा से निकाला जा सकता है और जो तनु अम्ल में अघुलनशील होता है। ह्यूमिक अम्ल मृदा के ह्यूमिक पदार्थों का प्रमुख निकालने योग्य घटक है। इनका रंग गहरे भूरे से काला होता है। ह्यूमिक अम्ल को अमीनो अम्ल, अमीनो शर्करा, पेप्टाइड्स, ऐलिफ़ैटिक यौगिकों युक्त जटिल ऐरोमैटिक वृहद अणु माना जाता है।)
ii. Fulvic acids (फुल्विक अम्ल):- The fraction of humic substances that is soluble in water under all pH conditions. They remains in solution after removal of humic acid by acidification. Fulvic acids are light yellow to yellow-brown in colour.
(ह्यूमिक पदार्थों का वह अंश जो सभी pH स्थितियों में जल में घुलनशील होता है। अम्लीकरण द्वारा ह्यूमिक अम्ल को हटाने के पश्चात प्राप्त विलयन में वे उपस्थित रहते हैं। फुल्विक अम्ल हल्के पीले से पीले-भूरे रंग के होते हैं।)
