PAPER:- Foundations of Political Science

(राजनीति विज्ञान के मूल आधार)

UNIT – I:-
> Political Science: Meaning, Nomenclature and scope.
(राजनीति विज्ञान: अर्थ, नामकरण और दायरा।)
> Traditional and Contemporary Perspectives of Political Science.
(राजनीति विज्ञान के पारंपरिक और समकालीन परिप्रेक्ष्य।)
> Relations of Political Science with other Social Sciences (Economics, History and Sociology).
[राजनीति विज्ञान का अन्य सामाजिक विज्ञानों (अर्थशास्त्र, इतिहास और समाजशास्त्र) के साथ संबंध।]
UNIT-II:-
> State: Theories of the Origin (Divine Origin, Social Contract, Evolutionary Theory and Marxist Theory).
[राज्य: उत्पत्ति के सिद्धांत (ईश्वरीय उत्पत्ति, सामाजिक अनुबंध, विकासवादी सिद्धांत और मार्क्सवादी सिद्धांत)।]
> Nature of the State- Organic theory of the State, the Concept of Walfare State.
(राज्य की प्रकृति- राज्य का जैविक सिद्धांत, वालफेयर राज्य की अवधारणा।)
> Sovereignty: Monistic and Pluralistic theories.
(संप्रभुता: अद्वैतवादी और बहुलवादी सिद्धांत।)
UNIT – III:-
> Basic Concepts: Behaviouralism and Post Behaviouralism, Power, Authority and Legitimacy.
(मूल अवधारणाएँ: व्यवहारवाद और उत्तर व्यवहारवाद, शक्ति, अधिकार और वैधता।)
> Basic Concepts: Rights, Liberty, Equality, Justice and Law.
(मूल अवधारणाएँ: अधिकार, स्वतंत्रता, समानता, न्याय और कानून।)
UNIT-IV:-
> Democracy and Dictatorship, Parliamentary and Presidential Systems, Unitary and Federal Systems, Political Parties.
(लोकतंत्र और तानाशाही, संसदीय और राष्ट्रपति प्रणाली, एकात्मक और संघीय प्रणाली, राजनीतिक दल।)
> Pressure Groups, The Minorty Representation and Proportional Representation.
(दबाव समूह, अल्पसंख्यक प्रतिनिधित्व और आनुपातिक प्रतिनिधित्व।)
UNIT-V:-
> Organs of Government and their Functions with reference to recent trends.
(सरकार के अंग और उनके कार्य, हाल के रुझानों के संदर्भ में।
> Theory of Separation of Powers, Good Governance and Globalization.
(शक्तियों के पृथक्करण का सिद्धांत, सुशासन और वैश्वीकरण।)
